Landing pages and waitlists

6 min read

Sometimes you don't want to embed a form — you want a whole page. BlueyEmail's landing pages and waitlists are standalone, hosted pages that collect signups on their own, no website needed.

Landing pages

A landing page is a single, focused page hosted by BlueyEmail. It has one job: get the visitor to sign up. Because there's no navigation or clutter, landing pages are great for ad campaigns, lead magnets, and event registrations.

  1. 1

    Open Landing pages

Find Landing pages under the Website area in your sidebar and click New landing page.

  2. 2

    Pick a template and edit

Choose a starting design, then swap in your headline, image, and copy. Keep the message clear and the signup form front and center.

  3. 3

    Set your actions

Just like a form, you can apply a tag on submit and start an automation so new signups get a welcome email right away.

  4. 4

    Publish and share the link

Hit Publish to get a hosted URL you can put in ads, social posts, or your email signature.

One page, one goal

The best landing pages remove distractions. Cut extra links and keep a single clear call to action so more visitors actually sign up.

Waitlists

A waitlist collects interest for something that isn't live yet — a product launch, a course, an early-access beta. Beyond capturing emails, waitlists add a bit of momentum with position and referral mechanics.

  • Position — each person sees where they stand in line, which builds anticipation.
  • Referrals — signups get a personal share link, and inviting friends moves them up the list. This turns your waitlist into its own growth engine.
  1. 1

    Open Waitlists

Go to Forms in the sidebar, open the Waitlists tab, and click New waitlist.

  2. 2

Describe what people are waiting for

Add a name, a short description, and an image so visitors know exactly what they're signing up for.

  3. 3

    Turn on referral rewards (optional)

Enable referrals so members can climb the list by sharing — a simple way to grow buzz before you launch.

  4. 4

    Publish and share

Publish to get the hosted waitlist link, then share it wherever your audience is.

Where do the contacts go?

Whether someone signs up through a landing page or a waitlist, they land in the same place as everyone else: your Contacts. From there, any tags you set are applied and any connected automation runs — so you can follow up, segment, and email them just like a regular signup.

Everything stays in sync

Landing pages and waitlists feed the same contact list as your forms and popups. You don't have to manage signups in separate places.
