Managing your workspace

6 min read

Your workspace is home base for everything you do in BlueyEmail — your contacts, campaigns, business details, and team all live here. This guide walks through the settings that keep it running smoothly.

Workspace vs. account

It helps to know the difference between these two things:

  • Your account is you — your personal login and profile. It's how you sign in to BlueyEmail.
  • Your workspace is your business inside BlueyEmail — the shared space that holds your contacts, campaigns, forms, and settings. Teammates you invite join the same workspace and work alongside you.

Note

Most day-to-day settings — business details, team, integrations, and billing — belong to the workspace, so changes you make apply for everyone on your team.

Update your business name & mailing address

Your business name and a valid mailing address are required in your email footers — it's a legal requirement for sending marketing email and helps keep you out of spam folders. Keep these accurate and current.

  1. 1

    Open general settings

    Go to Settings → General.

  2. 2

    Edit your business details

Update your business (or sender) name and your physical mailing address.

  3. 3

    Save

Save your changes — they'll be reflected in the footer of emails you send.

Don't skip the mailing address

A real, physical mailing address is required by anti-spam laws. Leaving it out or using a fake one can hurt your deliverability and put your account at risk.

Invite teammates & set roles

You don't have to run everything solo. Invite colleagues into your workspace and give each person a role that matches what they need to do.

  1. 1

    Open your team settings

Head to your workspace team settings from Settings.

  2. 2

    Send an invite

Enter a teammate's email address and choose their role.

  3. 3

    They accept

Your teammate gets an email invite and joins your workspace once they accept.

Tip

Give people the level of access they need and no more. You can adjust or remove a teammate's access anytime as your team changes.

Connect sending accounts & integrations

To send email, your workspace needs a connected sending account and — for the best deliverability — a verified domain. You can also connect other tools you use to keep your data in sync.

  • Email accounts — connect the address you'll send from. See Connect a sending account.
  • Domains — verify your domain so your emails are trusted and land in the inbox.
  • Integrations — link BlueyEmail to the other apps and services you rely on.

Where key settings live

Everything you need is under Settings. Here's a quick map so you always know where to look:

  • Settings → General — business name, mailing address, and workspace basics.
  • Settings → Email accounts — the addresses you send from.
  • Settings → Domains — verify and manage your sending domains.
  • Settings → Integrations — connect and manage third-party apps.
  • Settings → Billing — your plan, payment method, invoices, and usage.

Good to know

A good first-week checklist: set your business name and address, connect a sending account, verify your domain, and invite anyone who'll help you run campaigns.
